SHORA is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization. We are governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of local residents that meet monthly and invest a combined total of 1000+ hours annually to support their community. SHORA works to improve the quality of life for its residents by informing members of community activities, events, initiatives, and issues; acting as a collective voice for members; addressing common issues and concerns; representing members to governments and other groups; and, promoting community awareness and participation.
