What a success! On May 7th approximately 60 volunteers planted 250 native trees and shrubs in the Loyalist Creek Woodlot. In addition to the planting, City of Mississauga staff educated us on how to identify and remove two common invasive species, garlic mustard and burning bush. Thank you to EVERYONE who volunteered their Saturday morning to help revitalise the woodlot. As well, thank you to The City of Mississauga for providing the trees, tools and expertise to make this event a huge success!
